brockbeardDespite the ratings success of UFC 168, the UFC is dealing with a bit of a problem right now. Two of their biggest PPV draws and longest reigning champions—Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre—will both be out of action for quite some time. Other champs, Anthony Pettis and Cain Velasquez are also sidelined due to injuries.

Because of all that, Brock Lesnar’s name keeps coming up. Lesnar is/was considered the biggest draw in UFC history and is at least partly responsible for several of the highest-rated PPV’s the UFC has seen. Everyone seems to want to know if Lesnar will ever come back.

During last night’s media session, Dana White was asked yet again about Lesnar’s possible return. It stemmed from a brief discussion about WWE’s Vince McMahon supposedly “hating the UFC sometimes.” So you won’t be sharing Brock Lesnar then? was the next question.

Never know,” White replied coyly with a grin on his face. “Do we talk? Yeah, me and Brock talk. Recently Brock said he feels…he said he has some regrets with MMA because he wasn’t healthy. He was going through those stomach problems the whole time he was here.”

SO is it possible Brock could come back?

“Oh yeah, it’s definitely a possibility,” White exclaimed.

Believe it or not, Lesnar hasn’t fought since December of 2011. He’ll be 37 this year and is currently under contract with WWE. There’s no question White would love Brock to return. Chances are however, that most people would be shocked if Lesnar returned.
